Grand Prairie is an outdoor mall housing a variety of stores ranging from home decor to sporting goods. As a client of my agency, they were looking for an update to their branding and wayfinding signage. While I helped ideate the branding updates, the majority of my work with the client dealt with the wayfinding. There are multiple kiosks located throughout the mall with maps in its entirety, as well as a directory. I worked with my creative director to find a style that fit the clients brand and vision while I worked to maintain clear and concise communication through simplicity, iconography, and color.

The client had specified that they wanted the map to feel fun, not dull like signage of this type tends to be. To this end, I incorporated icons, colors, and a visual style more akin to a zoo or theme park map.
